The 4th hole leaves the player with a decision of whether to take a driver from the tee or play safe with an iron. A good drive would leave a short pitch into the green but would flirt with bunkers and hilly lies. Players may choose to take an iron leaving a longer second shot to a green guarded by bunkers left and right. This green again is difficult to putt on.
